DAY 20 & 21 OF RENO

i knew it the moment i was at the doorstep, i could smell that fresh coat of paint emitting through my main door.

the once white walls are now even nicer than i could imagine... colors my parents never use and i never knew it would be so beautiful than we could ever imagine!

i'm using Nippon Vinilex 5000
all arranged in the store room
this center piece was the first to caught my eye - the highly anticipated island in the middle of my living room.

color from the catalogue looks deceiving - but in actual fact, i love it to max!

cant wait - let's see the bedrooms!

jas's room, the pink castle. the brighter pink is where she places her bed. the other 3 sides of the wall are in lighter shades.

jj's room, for the sunshine boy. painted in his favourite colors! the premium yellow turn out better than it is on catalogue!

finally, the master bedroom.

OMG! i didnt expect it to turn out this way. we took ID's recommendation to go for the bold purple and it's so NICE!!
a gamble which we took but it never let us down

my ID combines it with some shade of lilac! hats off to him
only the living room are done up nicely in 2 coats of paints. the bedrooms are still in their first coating, thus there's uneven tone in the pictures.

the painters will continue their work till later this week and by friday, the carpenters will be here to take the actual measurements for the cabinets.

the once plain white walls are now covered in all sorts of vibrant colors - i'm so happy yet at the same time worried. we just spent a sum on 2 rolls of wallpapers, it would be a waste to cover up such nicely colored walls but having wallpapers seems to enhance the place? haizzz, headache.
